Hermes is the messenger of the Gods in Hellenic Polytheism, and also a God of agriculture, games and gambling, storytellers, tricksters, travellers. His attributes include sandals, the cadeucus, the kerikeyon. He is the father of Pan and, with Aphrodite, Hermaphroditos.

In modern times, Hermes is often linked to the Internet. Common modern offerings of unverified personal gnosis origin include caramels.

Modern worshippers and non-worshippers alike tend toward stereotyping Hermes as a "playful pixie", but those with closer relationships with this deity say litle could be any further from the truth.
